This Policy outlines the warranties offered by Mor ("we," "us," or "our") on the physical Goods (NFC products) and the Service (URL Redirection Management), in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
The ACL provides consumers with automatic rights and guarantees for all purchases. These rights cannot be excluded or limited by our change-of-mind or express warranty policies.
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled:
You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.
If the Goods or Service fail to meet a Consumer Guarantee (e.g., the NFC chip stops working or the Service is unfit for purpose):
Mor stands behind the quality and premium nature of our products, particularly the metal business cards and durable review plates.
Mor provides a Limited 12-Month Hardware Warranty on the NFC Goods from the date of delivery. This warranty covers manufacturing defects, including physical failure of the NFC chip or major deterioration of the base material (e.g., cracking, peeling, or fading).
This express warranty does not cover:
In compliance with the Cyber Security (Security Standards for Smart Devices) Rules 2025, Mor confirms that the digital Service (URL redirection) will be maintained and supported for a minimum period of 24 months from your date of purchase. Mor guarantees the integrity of the unique static URL link pre-programmed onto your Goods (e.g., move.getmor.co/i/xxxxxxxx). We guarantee that this link will remain active for the useful lifetime of the Service to ensure your redirection platform remains functional, provided you maintain your subscription (if applicable, post-Year 1).
If the dynamic redirection platform experiences a significant failure that prevents you from updating your URL or redirects are failing for a sustained period, please contact us immediately. We will take all reasonable steps to rectify the issue promptly, as required by the ACL service guarantees.
Due to the custom and highly personalized nature of the engraving and pre-programming required for all Mor Goods, we do not offer refunds or replacements for change of mind (where the customer simply decides they no longer want the product).
Due to the personalized engraving and pre-programming of our Goods, we do not offer refunds or replacements for "change of mind" or for customer-supplied errors (e.g., typos in your destination URL or a low-resolution logo). This does not affect your rights if the goods are faulty or do not match our description under the ACL.
If your product is faulty or if the failure is covered under the ACL or the Express Hardware Warranty:
Any refund issued for a faulty product will be processed for the full amount paid by the customer and will be issued back to the original method of payment (e.g., credit card or PayPal) unless otherwise agreed.
No warranty or guarantee applies if the failure to use the product is due to a violation of the Mor Website Terms & Conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, the cancellation or refusal of service executed by Mor under Clause 5.3 (Prohibited Content). If Mor cancels an order due to prohibited content, a full refund will be issued, but no warranty claims related to the suitability or functionality of the Goods will be accepted.
